Getting in touch with friends and having the chance to talk with or even see them is one of the most cherished aspects of my life, and I am so greatful for that. This weekend I was able to talk to a friend in Utah for the first time in over 2 months. Hearing her voice and knowing that she was safe brought me to tears and gave me that feeling of contempt in my heart. Another experience similar to this happened today. Some of my friends/ex teammates hung out at Kelsey's house, basically reconnecting and enjoying each other's presence. We ate (a lot..) played Wii, watched "Up" and frolicked around for a while. This photo was taken while we were running around the backyard, and everytime I see it, it reminds me of what i would like to do: jump for joy. It might sound cheesy but reconnecting/reuniting with friends is such a wonderful feeling.

Today my grandma, mom, and I were at the vet for my granny's dog, Philbert, because of a surgery he had like a month ago. Anyways, I chose this photo because my grandma's facial expression & body languge somewhat remind me of an Italian mob boss. She's a gangster at heart, but she loves her family to the core. Sounds weird, but it's totally true! Well, sort of.
